The oldest Bulgarian winter resort Borovets is situated at Rila mountain at base altitude 1300 m. The resort offers ski tracks with length 58 km. The longest track is 12 km. In the central part of Borovets has a ski jumping facility. Borovets also offers biathlon facilities and tracks for cross country run with length 35 km. The highest skiing point in the resort is 2560 m. The ski season begins at december and ends at april. The winter is mild and the snowing is often. Borovets offers excellent conditions for snowboarding.

At the foot of Pirin mountain is situated modern winter resort Bansko. Bansko offers safe guaranteed ski tracks, lifts and rope lines. The tracks are with common length 50 km at base altitudes from 1100 up to 2550 m. Bansko also have conditions for snowboarding. The ski season is from december until april. The resort offers plenty of traditional Bulgarian restaurants and modern hotels from every range.

At the heart of Rhodopes is situated winter resort Pamporovo at base altitude 1650 m. The resort offers ski tracks for every type of skiers – from amateur to master, modern lifts and rope lines. Pamporovo is famous with one of the best ski-schools and mild climate. Snow reaches depth of over 140 cm. The tourists can relax at modern hotels or villa complexes.
